Why Igud HaKohanim Exists
Kehuna is a complete Torah institution entrusted to the descendants of Aharon. It encompasses identity, lineage, blessing, Torah instruction, sacred distinction, gifts to the Kohen, family continuity, readiness, and service before Hashem.
These subjects are often encountered separately. As a result, individual practices may remain known while the larger priestly institution connecting them becomes less visible.
Igud HaKohanim provides a dedicated institutional home and public address for Kehuna—bringing its many dimensions together with clarity, dignity, responsibility, and a view toward future generations.

One Mission Across Generations
Kehuna did not begin as a modern organization. It began with the appointment of Aharon and his descendants and has continued through Torah observance, family memory, communal recognition, priestly blessing, and the enduring identity of the Kohanim.
Igud HaKohanim does not create that institution. Its role is to recognize it, clarify it, preserve its continuity, organize its public expression, and help build the resources through which it can be strengthened.
The mission therefore looks backward with fidelity, acts responsibly in the present, and looks forward with confidence toward the future described in the Torah and Nevi’im.
