Welcome to Kehuna.org. The Site exists to preserve, organize, explain, and advance understanding of Kehuna, the Torah identity and mission of the descendants of Ahron HaKohen, and related Torah, educational, historical, institutional, geographic, architectural, and research subjects.

Making material publicly accessible does not place it in the public domain and does not grant unrestricted permission to reproduce, adapt, commercialize, translate, model, map, publish, or claim authority from it.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Site Operator and Participating Organizations

Unless a particular page, form, receipt, agreement, project, or communication expressly identifies another entity, Kehuna.org is operated by Igud HaKohanim Inc.

The Site may also present projects, activities, publications, fundraising, products, or services conducted with the following participating sister organizations:

• Igud HaKohanim Inc.
• Igud HaKohanim LeMa’an HaKehuna — איגוד הכהנים למען הכהונה (ע״ר), the Israeli amuta
• Admath HaKohanim Inc., a sister organization

These entities are referred to collectively as the “Participating Organizations” when relevant to a particular activity.

Each Participating Organization remains a separate legal entity and is responsible for its own activities, agreements, receipts, projects, and transactions. Nothing on the Site creates joint liability, a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship unless expressly established in writing.

2. Purpose of the Site

Kehuna.org provides public education, Torah study, original analysis, historical material, lineage-related resources, institutional positions, visual material, reconstructions, publications, forms, products, and information concerning the identity, sanctity, responsibilities, continuity, and mission of the Kohanim.

The Site’s public availability does not diminish authorship, ownership, copyright, trademark, patent rights, rights associated with pending patent applications, trade-secret protection, confidential know-how, database rights, other intellectual-property rights, or the commercial value of original work presented through it.

3. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms and governs personal information submitted or processed through contact forms, lineage inquiries, registries, donations, purchases, correspondence, programs, comments, and related activities.

4. Ownership of Site Content

Except where expressly stated otherwise, original Site content is owned by Igud HaKohanim Inc., a participating sister organization, the credited author, inventor, or another identified rights holder.

Protected material may include:

• Articles, translations, explanations, commentary, research, and educational writing
• Source selections, annotations, compilations, classifications, and organizational structures
• Maps, plans, diagrams, illustrations, photographs, models, animations, and renderings
• Books, reports, videos, recordings, lectures, presentations, and downloadable files
• Databases, registry structures, research tools, forms, and educational programs
• Lineage-review systems, evidence models, workflows, data structures, research interfaces, analytical tools, technical documentation, and patent-pending implementations
• Product designs, packaging, instructions, photographs, and promotional material
• Website graphics, original design elements, code, and page arrangements
• Names, logos, project identities, product identities, and other protected source-identifying material

5. Torah Texts, Facts, Ideas, and Third-Party Material

We do not claim ownership of the biblical text, Chazal, classical Torah works, public-domain works, historical or geographic facts, traditional measurements, general ideas, methods, systems, or teachings belonging to the Torah heritage of Israel.

Our rights apply to our original expression and work, including translations, explanations, interpretations, source selection, organization, annotations, diagrams, maps, models, visualizations, comparisons, commentary, and presentation.

Third-party material remains subject to the rights of its respective owner. Its appearance on the Site does not grant permission for further use.

6. Limited Permission for Personal Study

Visitors may:

• Read and view Site material for personal and noncommercial study
• Save or print one personal reference copy of an ordinary text page
• Share links directing others to the original page on Kehuna.org
• Quote brief text excerpts under the conditions stated below

This limited permission does not authorize systematic copying, republication, commercial use, translation, adaptation, mapping, modeling, or creation of derivative works.

7. Brief Quotations and Attribution

A brief quotation of up to 200 words from an individual text page may ordinarily be used in a noncommercial article, class, academic paper, review, discussion, or social-media post without advance permission, provided that the quotation is not the heart or a substantial portion of the original work.

The user must:

1. Reproduce the quotation accurately
2. Identify the page or article title
3. Credit the named author, when identified
4. Credit Kehuna.org / Igud HaKohanim
5. Link to the original page when the use is online
6. Avoid implying endorsement, authorization, certification, or partnership

This courtesy permission does not apply to images, diagrams, maps, models, plans, full translations, downloadable files, substantial source collections, patented designs, or the Rivkin Reconstruction of Ezekiel’s Final Vision.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights independently permitted by applicable law, including fair use or fair dealing.

8. Uses Requiring Written Permission

Written permission is required before:

• Republishing a complete article or substantial part of a page
• Translating, adapting, abridging, redrawing, mapping, or substantially rewriting material
• Distributing copied material through books, websites, newsletters, applications, databases, or course materials
• Reproducing images, maps, plans, diagrams, models, renderings, charts, or downloadable files
• Using content in paid classes, recurring curricula, certification programs, exhibitions, tours, or institutional publications
• Using material in monetized media, publications, courses, consulting, subscription services, or commercial presentations
• Using material for fundraising, advertising, lead generation, promotion, or professional branding
• Creating derivative publications, maps, models, reconstructions, products, databases, applications, or exhibitions
• Reverse engineering, recreating, or commercializing protected technical materials, participant-facing systems, or patent-pending implementations made available through the Site or related services

9. Commercial and Institutional Use

No person or organization may derive revenue, fees, donations, sponsorship, commercial advantage, professional standing, or institutional benefit from our original work without written authorization.

Commercial or institutional use includes sales, subscriptions, advertising, monetized media, books, courses, lectures, consulting, merchandise, models, applications, fundraising, database development, lineage or verification platforms, professional promotion, and services presented as expertise derived substantially from our material.

Nonprofit, charitable, educational, or religious status does not automatically make a use noncommercial. Appropriate uses may be licensed without charge, while substantial, recurring, institutional, or revenue-producing uses may require a fee, royalty, attribution agreement, or other written terms.

10. No Claim of Authority, Certification, or Endorsement

Reading, studying, quoting, teaching, purchasing, or using Site material does not authorize anyone to claim or imply that the person:

• Represents a Participating Organization
• Speaks on behalf of the Kohanim, Kehuna.org, or Igud HaKohanim
• Has been appointed, certified, trained, licensed, accredited, or endorsed by us
• Has received halachic, lineage, Temple, geographic, architectural, or institutional authority from us
• Has received approval for a publication, course, reconstruction, map, ruling, model, product, service, or fundraising campaign
• Is our partner, affiliate, agent, representative, or authorized instructor

Authorization or affiliation exists only when expressly granted in writing by an authorized representative.

DISTINCT PROTECTED WORK

11. The Rivkin Reconstruction of Ezekiel’s Final Vision

The Rivkin Reconstruction of Ezekiel’s Final Vision, also referred to as the Rivkin Reconstruction of Ezekiel’s Vision, is a distinct body of original interpretive, analytical, literary, cartographic, geographic, architectural, educational, graphic, and visual work created by Peretz Rivkin.

The project reconstructs the integrated vision recorded in Ezekiel chapters 40–48. It includes, but is not limited to, the Temple, its courts, gates, chambers, structures, measurements, and sacred precincts.

It also encompasses the sacred district, the city, tribal territories and allotments, territorial boundaries, waterways, the river flowing from the Temple, terrain, elevations, orientation, distances, topography, geographic relationships, and the manner in which all parts of the vision form one integrated territorial and architectural system.

Unless a signed assignment, registration record, or specific copyright notice states otherwise, Peretz Rivkin retains the copyright in the original work. A Participating Organization may host, display, administer, publish, promote, or assist with licensing the work as authorized by the copyright owner.

Protected material may include:

• Original interpretations and conclusions concerning Ezekiel chapters 40–48
• Maps, territorial plans, boundary studies, geographic layouts, and topographical reconstructions
• Drawings, floor plans, diagrams, elevations, sections, measurements, and spatial arrangements
• Reconstructions of the Temple, sacred district, city, tribal allotments, boundaries, river system, terrain, and geographic features
• Two-dimensional and three-dimensional models, digital geometry, animation, simulation, and rendering
• Original comparisons of verses, commentaries, measurements, locations, and geographic or architectural relationships
• Terminology, labeling systems, annotations, classifications, and methods of visual presentation
• The original selection, coordination, and arrangement through which the elements of the vision are presented as an integrated reconstruction

Without a written license, no person may:

• Copy, publish, trace, redraw, scan, photograph, reproduce, distribute, map, digitize, or animate the reconstruction
• Build or commission a physical, digital, virtual, geographic, architectural, or three-dimensional model substantially derived from it
• Reverse engineer its geometry, measurements, locations, maps, spatial relationships, plans, or model files
• Produce a substantially similar reconstruction by copying its interpretation, coordination, selection, arrangement, terminology, or visual expression
• Use it in a book, film, class, exhibition, museum, tour, website, application, game, fundraising campaign, or commercial presentation
• Manufacture or sell models, maps, prints, posters, merchandise, digital assets, or derivative products
• Use it to promote personal religious, geographic, architectural, institutional, scholarly, or professional authority
• Remove or obscure authorship, copyright, licensing, attribution, or watermark notices

These restrictions apply not only to the Temple reconstruction, but also to the project’s sacred district, city plan, tribal allotments, territorial divisions, boundaries, waterways, river system, elevations, terrain, topography, geographic relationships, measurements, terminology, and integrated presentation of Ezekiel chapters 40–48.

The biblical text, classical commentaries, historical and geographic facts, traditional measurements, and general ideas remain open to independent study. Publication, mapping, modeling, exhibition, distribution, architectural use, media use, fundraising use, or commercial use of the protected work requires written permission and may require a licensing fee.

PATENTED DESIGN

12. Challah Cup — U.S. Design Patent No. D852,065

Challah Cup is the product name used by us. The design patent itself is formally titled Measuring cup for challah flour and is identified as U.S. Design Patent No. D852,065.

The scope, ownership, duration, and enforceability of patent rights are governed by the official patent record and applicable law. Reference to the patent number is provided as notice and identification of the protected design.

Without written authorization, and except as permitted by law, no person may:

• Manufacture, commission, import, offer for sale, sell, license, or commercially distribute a product using the protected design
• Copy, scan, trace, redraw, model, reverse engineer, or reproduce the protected ornamental design
• Use our product photographs, packaging, instructions, descriptions, drawings, or promotional material without permission
• Use the Challah Cup name or our organizational identity in a manner suggesting that another product is manufactured, licensed, approved, or endorsed by us
• Remove or alter patent, ownership, attribution, or source-identifying notices

These Terms do not claim exclusive rights in flour measurement generally, the mitzvah of separating challah, ordinary measuring concepts, or independently created products that do not use the protected design or copy our other protected material.

PROJECT MALACHI™ · PATENT PENDING

13. Project Malachi™ — Patent-Pending Lineage Evidence Framework

Igud HaKohanim is developing Project Malachi™, a proprietary lineage evidence and review framework designed to organize, preserve, compare, provenance-track, version, review, and document heterogeneous lineage evidence. A U.S. provisional patent application concerning aspects of this technology was filed on September 3, 2026 as U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 64/147,152. Project Malachi is therefore Patent Pending.

Patent-pending status means an application has been filed. It does not mean that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has examined, approved, or issued a patent. Any patent rights that may later arise depend on applicable law and on claims ultimately pursued and allowed.

Access to Kehuna.org, the registry, participant forms, reports, demonstrations, descriptions, or outputs does not grant any express or implied license under any patent that may issue from a pending application, or under any copyright, trademark, trade secret, confidential know-how, database right, or other intellectual-property right.

Unless expressly authorized in writing, users may not use access obtained through the Site or a participant-facing service to copy, scrape, extract, reverse engineer, reproduce, commercialize, or create a competing system from Project Malachi technical materials, protected expression, confidential methods, internal scoring or policy rules, data structures, interfaces, or other non-public materials. This paragraph does not restrict independent work that does not use protected Site material, nor conduct that applicable law does not permit us to restrict.

14. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Extraction

Except with written permission, Site content may not be used to:

• Train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, or improve an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system
• Create embeddings, datasets, retrieval systems, knowledge bases, or prompt libraries
• Generate derivative reconstructions or substantially similar textual, geographic, architectural, product, or visual outputs
• Conduct systematic scraping, harvesting, crawling, bulk downloading, or automated extraction
• Use computer vision, photogrammetry, reverse engineering, or similar systems to recreate models, maps, plans, measurements, products, or images
• Circumvent access controls, rate limits, technical protections, watermarks, or robots instructions

Ordinary search-engine indexing is permitted when used to direct visitors to the original Site pages and conducted in accordance with our technical instructions.

15. Names, Logos, Products, and Organizational Identity

The names Igud HaKohanim, Kehuna.org, Igud HaKohanim LeMa’an HaKehuna, Admath HaKohanim, Project Malachi™, the Rivkin Reconstruction, Challah Cup, project names, product names, logos, and related source-identifying material may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, affiliation, representation, certification, endorsement, or approval.

No person may use a confusingly similar organization, domain, publication, project, product, course, social-media, or commercial identity intended to imitate or trade upon our identity, work, or reputation.

16. Registry and Lineage Information

The Site may receive, preserve, organize, review, compare, and communicate information concerning Kohen or Levi identity, family tradition, genealogy, Y-DNA and other paternal-line evidence, documents, testimony, communal recognition, historical records, and lineage. Such information may be processed through Project Malachi™ or other registry and lineage-review systems used by Igud HaKohanim.

Third-Party Verification

Where a participant separately and specifically authorizes verification, Igud HaKohanim and its authorized representatives may contact testing laboratories, DNA or genealogy services, archives, cemeteries, synagogues, rabbis, researchers, family historians, issuing institutions, record custodians, and other relevant sources identified by the participant or reasonably connected with submitted evidence. Within the scope of that authorization, we may disclose limited identifying, lineage, testing, kit-number, account-reference, document, or other information reasonably necessary to identify and verify the relevant record, and may request and receive confirmations, reports, records, certificates, testing information, documentary evidence, or explanatory material.

These general Terms do not replace a separate authorization where applicable law or a third-party provider requires specific consent, a release, signature, identity verification, or its own authorization form. An authorization to Igud HaKohanim does not compel a third party to disclose information. Unless separately and expressly authorized, participants should not provide passwords or private account credentials to Igud HaKohanim.

A participant may withdraw authorization for future third-party verification as described in our Privacy Policy. Withdrawal does not reverse communications, disclosures, or verification activity already undertaken in reliance on a valid authorization before the withdrawal was processed.

Submission to a registry, correspondence with an organization, publication of a family account, or appearance in a directory does not by itself constitute:

• A final Torah-status or priestly-status determination
• A governmental or civil-status determination
• A legally binding genealogical certification
• A guarantee that every statement or document is accurate
• A permanent right to publication or inclusion
• An endorsement of every claim made by a submitting person

We may request documentation, correct records, add qualifications, restrict access, decline publication, suspend review, or remove material when reasonably necessary for accuracy, privacy, security, integrity, evidentiary preservation, or organizational purposes.

17. Material Submitted by Users

A person submitting documents, photographs, information, testimony, translations, comments, articles, family records, genetic or testing information, or other material represents that the person has the right and authority to submit it.

Private submissions

Material submitted privately for registry administration, lineage review, documentation, correspondence, or internal assessment may be received, copied internally, normalized, organized, preserved, secured, compared, reviewed, and processed for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Where the participant has separately and specifically authorized third-party verification, limited relevant information may also be transmitted to and received from the authorized testing organization, genealogy service, archive, cemetery, synagogue, researcher, issuing institution, record custodian, or other source for the purpose of verification. Private submission does not grant unrestricted permission for public publication and does not transfer ownership of the submitter’s underlying personal or genetic information to us.

Material submitted for publication

When material is submitted specifically for public display, the submitter grants the responsible Participating Organization a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, edit for length or clarity, translate, archive, distribute, and display it in connection with educational and organizational activities.

We may decline, moderate, edit, restrict, archive, or remove submitted material. Submission does not create an employment, agency, partnership, authorship-payment, or compensation obligation unless separately agreed in writing.

18. Donations, Purchases, and Payments

Donations support the religious, charitable, educational, documentation, preservation, research, and institutional purposes of the entity identified on the donation page or receipt.

Purchases of products, publications, licenses, or services may be subject to additional terms presented at the time of purchase.

Payment information may be processed by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies. Unless required by law, donations are generally nonrefundable, although reasonable requests involving duplicate charges, processing errors, or unauthorized transactions may be reviewed.

Unless a legally restricted gift is expressly accepted in writing, a donor’s designation represents the donor’s requested charitable purpose while permitting the responsible organization to administer the contribution in light of legal, practical, and mission-related needs.

A donation or purchase does not confer authority, endorsement, ownership, registry status, influence, editorial control, partnership, or the right to direct an organization or project.

19. Educational, Torah, and Interpretive Material

The Site presents Torah positions, textual study, institutional perspectives, original research, educational material, and interpretation.

General public material is not automatically an individualized ruling for every reader or circumstance. A formal determination from a Participating Organization should be identified as such and issued through an appropriate process.

Temple and territorial reconstructions, maps, geographic studies, lineage research, proposed initiatives, and historical conclusions may involve interpretation, continuing research, incomplete evidence, or matters not presently capable of practical implementation.

Publication does not by itself mean that a proposal or reconstruction has received governmental approval, construction authorization, archaeological confirmation, rabbinic consensus, or endorsement from another institution.

20. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, abusive, or harmful purposes
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, forms, databases, records, or administrative systems
• Introduce malware, harmful code, automated abuse, or security interference
• Impersonate another person or falsely claim organizational affiliation
• Publish private lineage, family, genetic, testing, registry, or personal information obtained without authorization
• Alter content to falsely attribute a position to a Participating Organization
• Remove copyright, patent, attribution, licensing, privacy, or proprietary notices
• Mirror, clone, frame, or systematically reproduce the Site
• Use Site material to build a competing registry, lineage-review system, Project Malachi-like platform, database, reconstruction, map, publication, product, or commercial service

21. External Services and Site Availability

The Site may link to external websites, payment processors, archives, videos, retailers, forms, cloud services, source libraries, and social networks. We do not control their availability, security, content, terms, or privacy practices.

We may revise, reorganize, restrict, suspend, archive, or discontinue any page, product, publication, registry, form, service, or feature. We do not guarantee permanent availability, uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or preservation of every public version.

22. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided on an “as available” basis. We endeavor to present material responsibly, but do not warrant that every page is complete, error-free, current, universally accepted, continuously available, or appropriate for every individual circumstance.

The Site does not provide individualized medical, genetic-medical, legal, financial, tax, engineering, governmental, archaeological, or professional architectural advice. Lineage review and discussion of Y-DNA are not medical diagnosis or medical genetic counseling.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Participating Organizations and their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, authors, inventors, contributors, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or unforeseeable loss arising from use of or reliance upon the Site. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

23. Enforcement

When copyrighted material, patented designs, products, or organizational identity are misused, we may request correction, attribution, removal, cessation of use, preservation of evidence, accounting of revenue, surrender of infringing materials, or payment of an appropriate licensing fee.

We may withdraw permission, suspend access, issue legal notices, or pursue other available remedies. We may offer a retroactive or continuing license but are not obligated to do so.

Failure to object immediately to a particular use does not waive our rights, and permission granted for one use does not establish permission for another.

24. Copyright Concerns

A person who believes that Site material infringes a copyright should contact us and provide:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification and location of the disputed material
• Contact information
• An explanation of the claimed infringement
• Information demonstrating ownership or authority to act for the owner
• A good-faith statement that the disputed use is unauthorized

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our activities, content, services, licensing practices, technology, participating organizations, or applicable law. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

26. Governing Law and General Terms

General access to and use of Kehuna.org are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

A particular donation, contract, program, registry activity, publication, license, product, or service may be governed by the law and terms applicable to the Participating Organization expressly identified as responsible for that activity.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable written license or agreement constitute the agreement concerning use of the Site. A signed specific agreement controls where it expressly conflicts with these general Terms.
